5月24日(金)、海外大学の経済学PhDプログラムを志望する学生向けに、アメリカの博士課程に合格した政治経済学部・経済学研究科出身者による座談会を開催します。イベントでは、海外の博士課程に出願するプロセスを理解するのに役立つ、出願までの道のりや工夫を紹介します。政治経済学部・経済学研究科から海外の博士課程に進学する道程は様々ですが、このイベントでは早稲田大学で経済学の修士号を取得した後、経済学や関連分野の博士課程に出願する際に何をすべきかを中心にお話します。将来的に博士課程への進学を考えている学部生や、数年後に博士課程への進学を考えている大学院生に役立つ内容となっています。会場では無料のサンドイッチが配られます。奮ってご参加ください。

スピーカーの略歴：
山口剛正：ウォートンスクール博士課程進学予定。早稲田大学政治経済学部卒業（2021年）、同大学院経済学研究科修士課程修了（2024年）。
北川梨津：コロンビア大学博士課程進学予定。早稲田大学政治経済学部卒業（2020年）、同大学院経済学研究科修士課程修了（2022年）。

Do you want to pursue a PhD in Economics at a US university but don’t know where to start? The SPSE and GSE are organizing an event where two recent PhD admits will share their application journeys and tips to help you understand the process of applying to PhD programs in the US. While there are diverse pathways to enter an oversea PhD program, their talk will be focused around what to do when you want to apply to PhD programs in Economics or related fields after getting an MA in Economics at Waseda University. This event will be helpful for undergraduate students who are considering applying to PhD programs in the future or graduate students who are currently considering applying in a few years. Most importantly, there will be free lunch. Sandwiches!

Participation: Not limited to students of the Graduate School of Economics and Management, students of the Graduate School of Political Science and the School of Political Science and Economics are also welcome to participate.
