要旨Abstract:This presentation brings together three strands of my recent work to illustrate how cultural logics unfold over time and how language provides a powerful lens for revealing them. The first study examines how the historical and geopolitical structure of Sino–Japan relations shapes collective sentiment and public discourse, which in turn influence participating minds. The second analyses the cultural dynamics that have influenced the global mindfulness movement and its reception in Japan. The third investigates how cultural logics intersect with climate mitigation efforts in coastal communities in Indonesia. Across these studies, I demonstrate how cultural logics are embedded in linguistic patterns and how computational and qualitative approaches can reveal these dynamics. These ideas matter because attending to cultural logics makes it possible to develop solutions that make sense and feel resonant within people’s lived cultural worlds.
