実証政治経済学研究拠点/ Center for Positive Political Economy (CPPE) 東京経済研究センター（TCER）定例研究会/ Tokyo Center for Economic Research (TCER) Workshop 2014・2015年度および2022・2023年度の研究会は早稲田大学で開催しました。

The workshops in AY 2014, AY 2015, AY 2022, and AY 2023 were held at Waseda University. 21世紀COE/ 21st Century COE Program 開かれた政治経済制度の構築（GLOPE）は、2003年に文部科学省より21世紀COEプログラムに採択され、2008年3月まで、研究教育拠点として活動を行いました。GLOPEの活動は、2008年度より、グローバルCOEプログラムとして継承されています。

The Global Center of Excellence for Political Economy (GLOPE) was selected for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT)'s 21st Century COE Program in 2003 and served as a center for research and education until March 2008. From AY 2008, GLOPE's activities were continued under the Global COE Program. グローバルCOE/ Global COE Program 21世紀COEプログラム「開かれた政治経済制度の構築」（21COE-GLOPE）において達成された政治学と経済学の方法論的融合を基礎に、「期待」と「制度」をキーコンセプトとして両学問分野のさらなる理論的融合を図ります。同時に、その過程において、専門的な研究者だけではなく、「専門知」を実践的に活かす人材を育成します。

Building on the methodological integration of political science and economics achieved through the 21st Century COE Program, “Constructing Open Political-Economic Systems” (21COE-GLOPE), this program seeks to further advance the theoretical integration of the two disciplines, with “expectations” and “institutions” as its key concepts. At the same time, it aims to cultivate not only specialized researchers but also individuals who can apply their expert knowledge in practice. 熟議と熟慮の政治経済学/ Political Economy of Deliberation 本プロジェクトでは、文部科学省・科学研究費基盤(S)「市民のニーズを反映する制度構築と政策形成の政治経済学」による研究を2013年度～2017年度の5年間にわたって行いました。「外国人労働者受け入れ」を主なテーマとして、CASI（Computer Assisted Self-Administered Interview）型世論調査による「熟慮（deliberation within）」と、ミニパブリックスによる「熟議（deliberation with)」とを比較し、熟慮と熟議の果たす役割を実証的（経験的）に検証しました。

This project conducted a five-year research program from AY 2013 to AY 2017 under the MEXT Grant-in-Aid for Scientific Research (S), “The Political Economy of Institution Building and Policymaking that Reflect Citizens’ Needs.” Focusing primarily on the acceptance of foreign workers, the project compared “deliberation within” through CASI (Computer-Assisted Self-Administered Interview) surveys with “deliberation with” through mini-publics, and empirically examined the roles played by these two forms of deliberation.
