Professor Takumi Naito of our Faculty received the IEFS Japan Koji Shimomura Award, the highest award of the Society, at the IEFS Japan Annual Meeting 2024 held on Saturday, October 12th, and gave an award lecture. Professor Naito is the fourth person to receive the award, for the first time in nine years.
Since 2024, the Koji Shimomura Award is given once every four years, in the year of the Summer Olympics, to researchers in their 50s or younger who have published outstanding work in the field of economics.
