Positive/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy

Since 2014, the Positive/Empirical Analysis of Political Economy Unit has been one of the model units of Waseda University’s Top Global University (TGU/SGU) Project. The unit offers research seminars and educational programs which meet the highest global standards in the fields of political science, economics, and managerial economics for students and researchers who aim to contribute to the global society as global citizens. The unit involves collaboration among faculty members mainly from the Faculty of Political Science and Economics, as well as the Faculty of Commerce and the Faculty of Social Sciences.

The Liberal Arts Research Center aims to promote academic research on liberal arts and foreign language subjects conducted by its members from their respective fields of expertise, and it publishes the “Journal of Liberal Arts” as part of the activities of the Waseda Society of Political Science and Economics (WSPSE).
