What is the GSPS RETREAT?
The GSPS Retreat is an event designed for GSPS faculty members, GSPS students, and other affiliated person at our graduate school (e.g. visiting scholars, invited visitors) including researchers who have not been in contact before to promote in-person connection and with each other as a break from the usual classroom and research environment.
This event has been held twice in AY2023, on April 12 and June 14, at the rented cafe “Orange Cat” in the Murakami Haruki Library on the Waseda Campus.
Many participants were able to spend a short but meaningful time talking about common interests and exchanging useful information over donuts and drinks.
We plan to hold these meetings regularly in the future.
