Course Registration

Course-specific guidance may be combined with general guidance on how to carry out course registration. Please contact and consult with a representative of the Course Administration Office if you will be unable to attend the guidance for any reason.

Check the Web Syllabus to choose your subjects and complete the course registration in accordance with your school-specific study guide (provided upon admission) and the “Course Registration Guide” (provided every academic year).

Open subjects for graduate students (credits do not count toward a degree)

Some of the university-wide open subjects that are offered to undergraduate students may also be enrolled in by graduate students. These subjects are divided into ones offered by the Global Education Center and ones offered by the Center for Japanese Language for international students called “Japanese as a foreign language.”

As a general rule, course registration should be made online. However, proxy registration is acceptable if you cannot apply for the course registration online for an unavoidable reason. The application date is first-day ONLY of every registration period.
The following documents are required for proxy registration:

• a) Proxy Form
• b) Course Registration Application Form
• c) A copy of the student’s ID card who cannot apply for the course registration online
• d) A copy of the proxy’s identification
