Professor Detey was Keynote Speaker at SJDF2025 Congress held in Ochanomizu University (Tokyo, 17-05 2025). His talk was entitled: ”The French-speaking world aflamed with French: linguistic realities, educational fiction, and why fiction is not so bad after all”  (in French: “La francophonie tout FLE tout FLAM: réalité linguistique, fiction didactique, et pourquoi la fiction a du bon“).

Prof. Detey also co-presented a paper with his colleague Dr Fontan (Archean Labs, France):
