On July 6th 2023, a GSICCS Faculty Seminar was held on-site and many colleagues from GSICCS and SILS gathered and exchanged ideas in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our Guest Speaker was Professor Patrick Le Galès from Sciences Po Paris (more details here), former Dean of the Urban School and Research Professor of Sociology at CNRS & Sciences Po (Centre for European studies and comparative politics).
His presentation was entitled “The British state at the post Brexit crossroad” and it offered a remarkably well-informed and insightful vision of the current state of Britain, within a broader European perspective.
