Waseda University has been featured in Forbes’ 2026 list of “15 Top International Colleges and Universities for U.S. Undergrads,” which highlights universities around the world offering English-language undergraduate degree programs for international students.
Waseda is the only university from Japan included in the list, alongside renowned institutions such as the University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Sciences Po, McGill University, and Bocconi University. The universities featured are located across 12 countries and offer students opportunities to pursue a degree while gaining international academic and cultural experiences.
Forbes highlights Waseda’s six undergraduate schools offering complete degree programs in English, including political science, economics, international liberal studies, social innovation, Japanese culture, and science and engineering. The article also notes Waseda’s more than 5,400 international students and approximately 600 officially recognized clubs and interest groups, providing students with opportunities to experience a diverse and vibrant campus life in Japan.
