On August 17, 2026, His Excellency Mr. Anderson Gukwi Mutatembwa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Republic of Tanzania to Japan, visited Waseda University for a courtesy call, accompanied by Mr. Herman Edgar Berege, Minister Plenipotentiary, and Ms. Eugenia Edward Mwesiumo, Counsellor. Vice President Masahiko Gemma welcomed the delegation and delivered opening remarks.
