Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, Waseda University held the September 2020 Graduation Ceremony virtually on September 20, 2020.
Though adapting to the new normal may have presented various challenges for the many of us, with hopes to celebrate the parting graduates, Waseda University has prepared a Web augmented reality (AR) application for anyone to enjoy. With this WebAR app, users can take photos on their smartphones with either the Okuma Auditorium, the Okuma statue, or Waseda Bear.
Please feel free to take photos on campus using this WebAR app. When sharing the photos on social media, you can tag us using #wasedagrad if you would like to share the photos with us also.
As the Alma Mater goes,
“Her students change from year to year,
Meet and part with youth’s delight,
Yet all alike we seek to share
These ideals and their light.”
No matter where they are what they might be doing, Waseda graduates are never alone. Waseda will always be here for our graduates as they take steps towards a brighter future as leaders and changemakers.
We are extremely proud of our graduates and wish them all the best in life. Congratulations!
