Delegation from Université de Montréal visits Waseda

On November 27, 2025, a delegation from Université de Montréal including Danial Jutras, Rector; Valérie Amiraux, Vice-Rector for Global Engagement and First Peoples; Simon Hobeila, International Affairs Advisor; and Adélie De Marre, Scientist in residence at the Québec Government Office in Tokyo, visited Waseda University.
The delegation met with Aiji Tanaka, President of Waseda University, and Kate Elwood, Dean of the International Affairs Division, to discuss educational and research trends at the two universities as well as ideas for future research collaboration.
Since signing a partnership agreement in 2014, Waseda University and Université de Montréal have maintained an active student exchange program and fostered a thriving culture of collaboration between researchers from both institutions.
