Waseda University and KU Leuven (Belgium) have recently entered into a Memorandum of Understanding regarding an office exchange agreement.
Under this agreement, office spaces will be provided within both universities for the use of researchers.
Since signing the university-level agreement in 2002, both universities have engaged in various academic exchange activities, including faculty and student exchanges, sharing of academic resources, and organizing academic symposiums.
Agreements have also been made between faculties, such as the School of Commerce, the School of Sports Sciences, the Graduate School of Law, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Graduate School of Creative Science and Engineering.
The signing of this office exchange agreement serves as a catalyst for further strengthening the collaboration and partnership between the two universities, promoting joint research initiatives, expanding faculty and student exchanges, and contributing to the continued development of academic exchange between Japan and Belgium.
