Estonia’s Prime Minster Taavi Rõivas visits Waseda

The Prime Minister of Estonia, Taavi Rõivas, visited Waseda University on April 6, 2016.
There was a roundtable discussion between Prime Minister Rõivas and Waseda students, including international students from Estonia. Professor Hiromi Komori of the Faculty of Education and Integrated Arts and Sciences moderated the discussion about various topics, including information technology in Estonia, issues related to the European Union, and international relations.
Following the roundtable discussion, a meeting was held between the Prime Minister, Waseda’s president, Kaoru Kamata, and Professor Norimasa Morita, Vice President for International Affairs. They exchanged opinions about strengthening ties between Waseda and its Estonian partner institutions.
