TEDxWasedaUの目的は「アイデアの共有」です。TEDxWasedaUでは異なるバックグラウンド、国籍、学部の学生たちが集まり、革新的で価値のあるアイデアを共有する舞台を提供しています。TEDxWasedaUはファイナンスチーム、スピーカーチーム、デザインチーム、そしてマーケティングチームの四つのチームに分かれています。この4つのチームが協力し合い、バイリンガルイベントを作り上げています。私たちは主に「Student Speaker Competition」（学生スピーカーコンテスト）と「Main Event」のイベントに向けて活動をしています。

/At TEDxWasedaU， we strive to contribute to TED’s vision of having “Ideas worth spreading.” TEDxWasedaU provides a platform for students from different backgrounds， nationalities， and faculties to come together and share innovative and valuable ideas. The four teams， the finance team， speaker team， design team， and marketing team， work together to make our bilingual events come to life. We mainly work towards our Student Speaker Competition and Main Event. We prep our guest speakers to go through our Student Speaker Competition and eventually to our Main Event， where they can present their speeches on a larger platform. The Main Event brings together people from various professions， backgrounds， and interests to discuss what they are passionate about and spread the word about various social issues. Past events have included participants speaking on topics such as solutions to reducing CO2 emissions， the art of Kintsugi in Japan， and the importance of preserving aging towns.
