For this program Waseda students will get to spend a day chatting in English with pupils at a Waseda affiliated elementary school.
No Japanese language skills are needed and no advance preparation is required! Just enjoy chatting with the kids!
The program is a great opportunity to see what Japanese school life is like and is ideal for those interested in cross-cultural education, volunteering and exchanging with Japanese pupils.

“Kokubunji Orienteering”
Go to various points around Kokubunji and communicate with students in simple English!

9 international students (A lottery will be held if applicants exceed the capacity)
Eligibility
All Waseda students who can speak English (Native level fluency is NOT required)

Note
*ICC staff will not accompany participants to this event.
*Transportation expenses will be provided by the school.
*Although this is a volunteer program, participants will be a part of a class at a scheduled time in an actual school, and so dropping out of the program or being late is not acceptable.
