You can now play board games in our Lounge!
We have games that are popular among young people in Japan and around the world that you can play.
Now that we have returned to in-person activities and the campus life we always dreamed about, the ICC staff are excited to create more opportunities for you to enjoy intercultural exchange on a daily basis and to make the ICC Lounge more fun to visit.
Just write your name and show your Waseda ID!
Playing these games from Japan and around the world is a chance to make friends and even learn game culture.

The Games
Uh-huh
Each card has 8 variations of a verbal expression. Turn over a card and take turns acting out the variation according to your Act card (A~H). You get a point when you guess correctly or someone guesses yours.
Toddles-Bobbles
Each card has a picture of a monster. Take turns turning over a card, and when you see a monster for the first time, the one who turned the card gives it a name. Remember the name. The first player to shout the monster’s name next time the same monster comes up gets all open cards. The player with the most cards at the end wins!
Lending Process
Borrowing
- Tell a staff member you would like to borrow a game
- Show your Waseda ID card (required) and fill in the form (Game, Name, Date, Time)
Returning
- Bring the game to a staff member
- Fill in the time on the form
