How about sharing the charms of Japan from the point of view of Japanese and international students? Want to share your inspiration with others?

This is a chance to get your first publication on the Waseda ICC website.
We will also have a luxurious prize to the winners.

Now the ICC is holding a competition in Japanese and English for Waseda students who love to write and share their experiences and impressions of Japan.
How about writing a non-fiction piece about a simple episode of history, traveling, living experiences, or even about the politics or the problems that young Japanese are facing?

What were the most necessary changes international students needed to make to integrate into the community? Feel free to include any stories like about local friends and others who helped you to adjust to life here in Japan and the different culture.

This event will be held online. Please feel free to apply through MyWaseda. Also please check the writing guidelines written below before you apply.

Moreover, the top prize for the ICC Writing Contest is a fabulously luxurious Waseda fountain pen. We are also excited to give out a set of charming Waseda pens and leather notebooks made in Italy for two runners up!
Don’t miss it! We are looking forward to your submissions!
