Do you want to tell people about your culture? Do you like kids or think about teaching after graduation? How about trying a volunteer activity or making new Japanese friends?
If so, then sign up for the ICC Outreach Program!
The ICC Outreach Program pairs international students with students from Japan to help foster intercultural understanding in the local community. Each pair creates a lesson about the international student’s culture to present at a local Japanese school.
This edition is for 3rd- and 4th-grade children, who are full of curiosity. We will visit at Waseda-affiliated Jitsugyo again for the first time in three years!
At the orientation ICC will explain details of the program and provide templates and sample materials. Then, you and your partner will work together to prepare, practice and then present your lesson at the school.
