Students are permitted to suspend taking a course due to study abroad with a designated procedure before and after going abroad. You will receive a final grade based on your work during the period when you take the course before and after study abroad. Yes, you can. However, you cannot register for Level (Intermetiate) in the spring and then drop back to Level (Basic) in the summer. It is not allowed to enroll in more than two levels of the same course in one quarter either.

Please be sure to choose courses that are suited to your Japanese language abilities.When a course is taught primarily in Japanese, there are no special supports or allowances for students who are not proficient in Japanese. At least, until you completely understand what a syllabus indicates in Japanese, you should not take the course. Furthermore, you cannot drop a GEC course once you have registered for it.

Courses Open to Graduate School Student are targeting Undergraduate Student, but open for Graduate School Student as well. But the Health and Physical Education Courses aren’t including in it, so Graduate Students cannot register these courses.
Although GEC English courses are available for graduate students, “General Tutorial English alpha” is not open for second and third registration due to their class composition.
Additionally please be careful that Registration Period of Courses Open to Graduate School Student(refer “Course Registration Guide”)finish earlier than the Registration Period of your Graduate School.
