Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology

The Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) is a new and improved organization that was formed through the merger of the “Distance Learning Center” and “Faculty Development Center”. CTLT not only continues its mission to research, develop, and promote educational methods based on ICT and distance learning, such as On-Demand Courses and Cross-Cultural Distance Learning, but has also since engaged in efforts to connect teaching practices in the field with methodology research, such as the acceleration of the implementation of an “Interactive Problem Finding and Solving” style of education through introducing “Flipped Lessons” and other new teaching methods.

Relocation of CTLT

On April 2020, the CTLT (Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology), a one-stop center which provides support for teaching and learning as well as IT, has opened on Waseda Campus.

All faculty members will have access to various support for course management, and are encouraged to utilize the available resources.
