Connecting with companies and society is an opportunity to gain new perspectives and broaden your horizons.
The Career Center holds events where you can interact with companies and alumni.
We hope that this will lead to the creation of further opportunities for PhD students who have acquired advanced expertise, research capabilities, and knowledge and skills in research and analysis.
We hope you will also use this opportunity to build relationships with companies that are essential for your research activities, including your academic career.

Waseda University is participating in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology's Job-Type Research Internship Program.
[What is a job-based research internship?]
This is a long-term, paid, research-based internship with a company promoted by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in order to expand the career path of doctoral students into the industrial world. Specific information such as member companies, past achievements, and leaflets is posted on the website of the "Job-Type Research Internship Promotion Council."
[Access to the dedicated system]
Since the Job-Type Research Internship is a program that can only be participated in by those who belong to the Council's participating organizations, the URL for the dedicated system is not publicly available on the web. A link to register for use of the system is posted on Waseda Moodle. Inquiries regarding account registration should also be directed to the Job-Type Research Internship Management Office.
