Establishment of Promotion Association for Smart Society Technology and Study Group for Smart Society Technology

To accelerate the actual implementation of the smart society technology, 2 organizations , “Promotion Association for Smart Society Technology (PASS-T)“and “Study Group for Smart Society Technology (SGSS-T)” ,are formed mainly with the companies and will cooperate with 10 research institutes of WASEDA university.

The main members of PASS-T are the infrastructure business operators, in other words, the user companies of the technology, and PASS-T will design the appearance of the “Smart Society” and “Smart Society Technology” especially for the spreading, deployment and usage of the technology complying with the global standards.

Based on the PASS-T’s design, SGSS-T, mainly formed with the manufacturing companies, will operate the activity for the actual deployment of the technology to the society through providing the products and services.
