2026 FAIS  Autumn Term  Japanese Course

Qualifications for Application:

  • Graduate students who belong to the Universities in KSRP（For International student in Kitakyushu campus)
Course Term :    Thu. October 15,2026 ～ Thu. February 4,2027
Day :      Twice a week (Monday and Thursday)
Time:     18:15～19:45
Number of lessons: 27times
Fee :      IPS Regular Students :7,000 yen 　(Non-degree Students : 17,000 yen)

IMPORTANT

Partial course fee is offered by IPS.
Students whose attendance rate is below 70% will be required either to reimburse the ¥10,000 subsidy or to submit a written statement of reflection.

How to Apply

  1. Before you apply for this course, check the class schedule of IPS, Waseda University.
    If you take the class which will be held in the 5th or 6th period in IPS on Monday and Thursday, you cannot apply for this Japanese language course because you cannot take two classes at the same time.
  2. Must receive a Enrollment Check(在籍確認印）at IPS office before submitting FAIS office.
    If you don’t have it, FAIS can not accept for your application.
  3. Please take a pretest for checking your level if you take a class first time.
STEP1  Print out and fill out the application form which is at the bottom of this page
STEP2 Must receive an Enrollment Check（在籍確認印）at IPS office (From Oct.1 to Oct.8)

before submitting FAIS office. If you don’t have it, FAIS cannot accept for your application.
STEP3 Submit the application form to the FAIS office and pay the course fee.

※FAIS do not refund any fees once payment is made.
※You cannot cancel the courses once applications are submitted.
※Please read the application guide of FAIS Japanese Language Course.
※Please be sure to check the sections “As a reference to attend a class” and “Level check before taking the class” in the application guidelines.
※Because the Japanese course is held twice a week, you cannot attend only one class if you have a scheduling conflict on either Monday or Thursday.
