On Sunday, August 3, 2025, Professor Kazuma Mawatari of IPS served as a lecturer at the 29th Science Café, held at the Kitakyushu Science and Research Park and organized by the Kitakyushu Foundation for the Advancement of Industry, Science and Technology (FAIS).
This hands-on educational event is designed to foster interest in science among students ranging from the 4th grade of elementary school to junior high school. In this session, Professor Mawatari presented a lecture titled “Thinking About Color: How Colors Are Formed?”, explaining how colors are formed using light.
