Automobile Engineering Summer Practice: Dismantling/Assembling Car Engine (Nissan Motor Kyushu Co.,Ltd.)

Joint Graduate School in Car Electronics Course and Intelligent Car & Robotics Course, which 3 graduate schools join in Kitakyushu Science and Research Park, has conducted the summer special practice of Automobile Engineering on 5th and 6th August 2014. Automobile Engineering is accredited as the essential subject in these courses. The practice was held at Kanda site, NISSAN MOTOR KYUSHU CO.,LTD., and its target is to learn and get skilled further assembling and dismantling a car engine.
3 quads of students each tackled with engines mounted successfully on many NISSAN cars such as X-TRAIL and SERENA. These teams dismantled, assembled engines, and restored their original states.
The participants listened to trainees carefully so as to make sure knowledge which they had obtained through their study and research. Meanwhile, they kept questioning, and exchanged ideas and opinions enthusiastically.
What is more, the practice would be a great and meaningful opportunity because not only inside a laboratory, but the students also experienced things tremendous amount with skilled workers at the manufacturing company.
Last but not least, the students will be able to return profits to their own study and research. As a result, it is highly expected that they will technically make a substantial contribution to industrial society.
