In the Yoshimura Laboratory, we are carrying out the research and development of optimization technology, pursuing the best algorithm of high performance, low cost and short time design from two aspects of theory and practice. It is possible to solve complex and large problems that were difficult to solve before. The main research area of the Yoshimura Laboratory is devoted to the following topics in system LSI design automation.
- Graph and network algorithm
- Optimization technique
- High Level Synthesis
- Physical design automation
During the weekly group seminar and joint seminar, we report, present and discuss focus on the excellent papers and research results both at home and abroad. Like the saying goes, ”Two heads are better than one.” Through the two-way communication, mutual learning and understanding of students with different experiences, we do not only stay on the subject of our own research, but also develop a wide range of vision. Through these active research activities, so far, many outstanding papers have been published in the international society.
Our teacher, professor Yoshimura, with 28 years work experience in NEC Central Research Institute, provide us valuable guidance. Thanks to the careful guidance of professor Yoshimura, we improve our knowledge as well as the way of interaction with others.
What’s more, extracurricular activities are also the greatest pleasure in college life. We plan for many recreation activities, such as admire the flowers, barbecue, fireworks and cycling. These activities deepen friendship and enrich our lives.
