アムステルダム自由大学の Patrick Mello 氏をお迎えして、“Recent Advances and Trends in Qualitative Comparative Analysis”と題するご報告をいただきます。Patrick Mello 氏は新著「Qualitative Comparative Analysis: An Introduction to Research Design and Application」 をジョージタウン大学から出版した新進気鋭の国際関係分野の専門家です。当日は、最新の研究内容である過程追跡(process tracing)と QCA を組み合わせた分析手法についても ご報告いただきます。その後、大学院生や若手研究者による報告へのフィードバックセッションを行います。報告を希望される方は、下記の連絡先までご連絡いただければ幸いで す。事前登録不要でご参加いただけます。Zoom を用いたハイブリッド形式で行います。
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Patrick Mello (Free University of Amsterdam) will give a talk on “Recent Advances and Trends in Qualitative Comparative Analysis” in a special workshop to be held on 22 May. Dr. Patrick Mello, an IR expert, is also well-known as an author of the new book “Qualitative Comparative Analysis: An Introduction to Research Design and Application” (Georgetown University Press, 2021). He will also present a paper on analytical methods combining process tracing and QCA in the workshop. This will be followed by a feedback session for young researchers and graduate students working with QCA in Japan. If you are interested in presenting a work-in-progress, feel free to get in touch with the organizer shown below. Pre-registration is not required. The session will be conducted in a hybrid format using Zoom. We look forward to your participation.
