This lecture introduces the new HyFlex course mode and how it is related to the regular hybrid/blended mode and other modes of teaching and learning (e.g., fully online, iTV). Practices of using the HyFlex mode are shared with examples in higher education and K-12 school settings in the United States. Related pedagogical and technical issues are also discussed.
