Dr.Giampietro
Dr. Mario Giampietro is a research professor of Institute of Environmental Science and Technology of Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and has a Ph.D. in Social Sciences from Wageningen University in Netherlands. He has worked on integrated assessment of sustainability issues for many years and is well-known as a developer of Multi-Scale Integrated Analysis of Societal and Ecosystem Metabolism, which links between the metabolism of socio-economic systems and the potential constraints of the embedding natural environment. He has more than 150 scientific publications in the prestige journals such as Ecological Economics, Energy, and Nature and is also the author of several books. He is one of the leading environmental scientists in European region.
Mario Giampietro博士はバルセロナ自治大学の環境科学技術研究所の研究専任教授で，オランダのWageningen Universityから社会科学の博士号を授与されています。博士は持続性の研究に長い間取り組まれてきており，社会経済システムと自然環境に組み込まれた制約条件の結びつけるMulti-Scale Integrated Analysis of Societal and Ecosystem Metabolismの開発者として良く知られています。Ecological Economics, Energy, and Natureといった雑誌に１５０本以上の論文を掲載され、書籍も数冊刊行されておられる，ヨーロッパを代表する環境科学の研究者です。
