Students from Hong Kong Diocesan Boys’ School visited our Waseda campus

On March 18, three students from Diocesan Boys’ School (DBS), a prestigious high school in Hong Kong, accompanied by two staff from Diocesan Boys’ School and Diocesan Girls’ School (DGS), visited our Waseda campus arranged by Global Recruitment Team for Hong Kong, School of International Liberal Studies, School of Political Science and Economics, and School of Social Sciences.

They participated in the “Waseda Information Session”. For them, there was a comprehensive introduction to Waseda’s spirit of globalization, characteristics of education, international students’ future developments, as well as criteria for admission by schools which have English-based programs. The students were concerned with the admission policies by their target schools, and our staff responded to them.

Then students had a campus tour, and visited the newly-built WID Waseda dormitory. They were impressed by WID Waseda’s combination of modern facilities and designs boasting traditional Japanese ambience.

Finally, they took a photo in front of the statue of Shigenobu Okuma, the founder of Waseda University, as the ending of the happy and fruitful visit.

If you are also from a high school in Hong Kong and interested in a campus tour of Waseda, please feel free to contact our Hong Kong team ([email protected]) for more information!
