Studying Economics at the SPSE has fostered my academic interest in a welcoming community. The first year’s fundamental courses piqued my interest in Game Theory and Econometrics. This has led me to choose Professor Veszteg’s Advanced Seminar, where we delve deeper into Matching Theories and present on existing research papers, as well as finding causal inference for my own individual project in Econometrics class. Taking part in circles such as Waseda Economics and Finance Forum and Waseda Association of Debaters also improved my teamwork and communication skills. To prospective students, I believe that university life is about exploring your own paths, so please take the opportunity and challenge yourself with all the resources available!
