The Graduate School of Political Science at Waseda University will hold a special programme in 2024 to further expand methodological education following the arrival of Professor Teppei Yamamoto, a leading scholar in Political Methodology. This causal inference summer intensive seminar is open to participants regardless of their affiliation. Professor Teppei Yamamoto has selected Professor Ryan Moore of American University to conduct the seminar in a face-to-face format on the following dates. The course is free of charge.

*Expenses related to the seminar (transportation to the university, accommodation, etc.) are to be borne by the participant. You will also need to make those arrangements yourself.
Lecture Contents
The content will be based on 2K: Causal Inference and Experiments in the Social Sciences, which Professor Moore is developing for the Essex Summer Course. The content will be a more intensive version of the same lecture, with some elective options. The language is English.

The prior registration is required, this special programme is open to non-Waseda participants as well. Please note that due to the limited space for the classroom, a lottery will be held once the maximum number of participants has been reached (and in such cases, a certain priority allocation will be given to Waseda participants).
