The following changes have occurred with regard to the ‘Internal Admissions by Recommendation for Doctoral Program’ and the ‘General Admissions for Doctoral Program’ in April 2023 or later.guidelines for September 2023 entry have already been published, but there are no changes as noted above.
(1) From the April 2023 admissions, the ‘Internal Admissions by Recommendation for Doctoral Program’, which was previously established independently, will be integrated into the ‘General Admissions for Doctoral Program’ and the ‘Internal Admissions by Recommendation for Doctoral Program’ will be abolished as a result. (2) In accordance with (1) above, the requirement to pass an examination for certification of the Analytical Methods, which was previously an application requirement for the ‘Internal Admissions by Recommendation for Doctoral Program’, will no longer be a mandatory requirement for application, and applicants may apply for the ‘General Admissions for Doctoral Program’ regardless of the result of the certification examination. If you have passed the certification examination, you may voluntarily submit the result letter at the time of application. For more details, please refer to the Application Admission Guidelines for September 2023 entry (English-based program) which will be released in December 2022 at Graduate School of Political Science website. If you wish to apply for the Japanese-based program instead of the English-based program, please refer to the Application Admission Guidelines for the Doctoral Degree Program for April 2023 entry, which will be released in July 2022. The internal admission
