Professor Detey was interviewed in one of the top French newspapers Ouest France about his book “Do we really know how to speak” and quoted on France Inter radio channel.

Professor Detey co-authored a book chapter – Psycholinguistics and oral corpora in L2 speech education: across generations… – with Professor Jean-Luc Nespoulous in November 2023 in a volume edited in honor of Paul Rivenc the co-founder of the SGAV methodology

Professor Detey published an article – Between the theory of linguistic unity and the experience of linguistic variation: when the transcription of oral corpora reminds us of the importance of pronunciation education – in November 2023 in the academic journal Dorif-Repères (Italy).

Professor Detey Co-organized the (I)PFC2023 International Conference in Paris and Presented a paper with Dr Fontan about the Lexical Predictions of Phonetic Substitution Matrixes among Japanese learners of French

Professor Detey was a Guest Speaker at the Hautes Etudes Internationales & Politiques HEIC – at the La Defense campus in Paris to talk about his book “Do we really know how to speak”

Professor Detey Co-organized a Round Table with the France-Japan Foundation of the EHESS around his book “Do we really know how to speak. The Linguistic contract as a social contract” with key speakers in the fields of linguistic policies and education, communication, and journalism in Paris.

Professor Detey was an Invited Speaker at Fribourg University (Switzerland) for a 2-day Conference about Speech Corpora and French Language Education co-organized by Neuchatel University and Fribourg University

Professor Detey participated in a Workshop in Seinan Gakuin University with Dr Fontan (Archean Labs) as part of a JSPS Fellowship Research Program about the Automatic evaluation of Japanese learners of French
