Evaluation

（１）Evaluation / 成績評価について

Grades are indicated by A+, A, B, C, P, N, G and Q. The score and status corresponding to each is shown the evaluation list.
成績評価をＡ＋，Ａ，Ｂ，Ｃ，Ｐ，Ｎ，Ｇ，Ｑで表示しており、これらに対応する点数および合否は評価一覧のとおりです。

（２）Notification and announcement of the grades  /  成績の通知・発表

Your grades will be notified through MyWaseda. All of your grades you have taken will be shown. Make sure to check them each semester. Grades will be announced in early September for spring semester, and early March for fall semester.

成績は、MyWasedaの成績照会にて通知します。在学中の成績を全て記載していますので、確認のうえ、次学期の科目登録を行ってください。成績発表は、春学期は９月上旬、秋学期は３月上旬にそれぞれ行います。

（３）GPA（Grade Point Average）

①　Courses used in GPA calculation / 対象科目
Courses that are registered to count towards completion are included in your GPA. However, Directed Research, Master’s Thesis, Independent Study, Doctoral Thesis and recognized course “N” are not included in the GPA.
修了算入対象科目として登録した科目が対象となります。ただし、研究指導、修士論文、インデペンデントスタディー、博士論文および認定科目「Ｎ」はGPA計算の対象から除外されます。

②　Calculation formula / 計算式
A corresponding value known as a grade point (4 points for an A+, 3 points for an A, 2 points for a B, 1 points for a C, and zero points for a failing grade) are given in accordance with the grade calculation for each course. The GPA is determined by adding the product of the number of credits for each course with the grade point corresponding to the grade calculation, and dividing this total by the total number of credits registered. The total number of credits registered includes credits for courses that you did not pass. The formula for this calculation method is as follows:

(No. of A⁺ credits×4) + (No. of A credits×3) + (No. of B credits×2) + (No. of C credits×1) + (No. of G credits×0)
Total number of credits recognized （incl. courses that you did not pass）
※GPAs are shown to the second decimal place （Rounded off to two decimal places）

科目の成績評価に対してGrade Pointと呼ばれる換算値（A⁺は４点、Aは３点、Bは２点、Cは１点、不合格(G)は０点）が決められています。それぞれの「科目の単位数」と「成績評価のGrade Point」の積の総和を「総登録単位数」で割って、スコア化したものがGPA（Grade Point Average）です。総登録単位数には、不合格科目の単位も含まれます。これを式で表すと、次のようになります。

(A⁺修得単位数×4) + (A修得単位数×3) + (B修得単位数×2) + (C修得単位数×1) + (不合格科目単位数×0)
総登録単位数（不合格科目を含む）
※GPAは、小数第２位まで表示します。（小数第３位は、四捨五入とします。）

③　GPA Notification and Certificate / GPAの通知・証明

You can check your GPA through MyWaseda’s grade report. Please note that the GPA will not appear on the Transcript of Academic. Instead, the Certificate of GPA will indicate the GPA and the grades used in the GPA calculation.
GPAは、MyWasedaの成績照会に記載されます。また、GPA対象科目の成績およびGPAが記載された「GPA証明書」を発行します。なお「成績証明書」には、GPAは記載されません。
