Simulation classroom
Students have access to lecture rooms that mimic classrooms in schools or other environments, for lectures and exercises that have adopted teaching methods focusing on micro-teaching and simulated teaching. The lecture room can also be used freely for practical training purposes.
Graduate School of Teacher Education student study rooms
building 16 basement, rooms 019/01-2
The Graduate School of Teacher Education offers two dedicated self-study rooms. Students can use these rooms to focus on self-directed learning. Lockers are also available.

Graduate School of Teacher Education teaching materials preparation room
building 16, room 930
Students can create their own teaching materials for use in simulated teaching or podium exercises. The room also features 10 video terminals, which students can use to analyze recordings of their own lessons or to watch video materials.

Computer lab
Computer lab (building 16 basement, room 019-2)
In addition to Internet access, students have access to standard business and statistical software. The School of Education, building 16 also features two computer labs that can be used when classes are not in session.

Open-use computer labs
Waseda University offers computer labs for open-use. For details on each, see the IT Service Navigation website.
Library room/library
The Graduate School of Teacher Education has collected its library materials (including school teaching materials and magazines for teachers) in a dedicated shelf in the School of Education teacher library (accessible to graduate students, building 16 basement). The undergraduate student reading room in the basement of building 14 is also available. Students can also use the neighboring Central Library on Sundays. The Takata Memorial Library is also available on weekdays and Saturdays.
Graduate School of Education student reading room (building 15, 8th floor, room 815)
A copier is also available in the student reading room which functions as a self-study room limited to reference books, dictionaries, and encyclopedias.

School of Education student reading room (building 14, basement 1)
Students of the Graduate School of Teacher Education are allowed to browse and copy materials in the student reading room (building 14, basement 1). The student reading room features a “Graduate School of Teacher Education book corner” for students of the Graduate School of Teacher Education.
- Borrowing limit/period:A total of 30 volumes (up to 5 from the student reading room) for up to 14 days, including the Central Library and Takata Memorial Library
- Office hours:Monday through Friday, 9:00 – 21:00; Saturday, 9:00 – 18:00
- Other:A return box is available. Books returned in this manner will be processed on the next day the building is open.
School of Education teacher library (building 16, basement 1, room 02)
Students of the Graduate School of Teacher Education are allowed to browse and copy materials in the School of Education teacher library (building 16, basement 1).
- Services:Browsing/copying (books are generally not lent out).

Central Library/The Takata Memorial Library
Students of the Graduate School of Teacher Education are allowed to use both the Central Library and The Takata Memorial Library. For details on each, see the Waseda University Library website.
Student lounge
Student lounges are available in several locations on campus. They are furnished with beverage vending machines, and are great spaces to relax in after studying.
Others
Students of the Graduate School of Teacher Education are allowed to use the student reading rooms and teacher libraries of other graduate schools in the university. For details on each, see the Waseda University Library website.
