On November 24, 2023, the Global Management Program (GMP) held a virtual information session for students at Waseda Shibuya Senior High School in Singapore. The information session featured presentations by Professor Yamada, who is in charge of the entrance exams, and Professor Hirota, the GMP director, as well as a panel discussion with five current GMP students.
Although the session was held online, about 30 high school students actively participated in the information session and engaged in lively discussions through questions and answers. It was a great opportunity for the GMP students to effectively communicate with the participants and give them a fresh perspective on Waseda University and the GMP.
In the panel discussion, the GMP students shared their experiences in the program, including the challenges and rewards of studying in English and participating in international exchange programs. They also discussed the skills and knowledge they have gained through the program, which they believe will prepare them for successful careers in the global business world.
The information session proved invaluable for both prospective students and the GMP. It provided future students with deeper insights into the program and its advantages. Simultaneously, it served as a platform for the GMP to highlight its strengths and attract potential students.
