The third GMP Forum of this year took place on June 27, welcoming Honorary Professor Shinichiro Torikai from Rikkyo University as the guest speaker.
Under the theme of “How to Respond and Communicate in English”, Professor Torikai delivered an insightful lecture to the students. The lecture delved into various aspects of learning English not often discussed in class. It included the linguistic analysis of Japanese people’s English proficiency and offered practical tips for learning English beyond the traditional learning environment. The session involved group activities, making it an enriching and engaging learning experience.
The forum served as a great learning opportunity for all participants. It catered not only to the GMP students facing difficulties in learning English but also to the returnees and individuals who were already confident in the language. The practical guidance provided during the forum aimed to enhance participants’ communication skills, empowering them to excel in diverse global environments in the future.
