Workplace Covid-19 vaccinations at Waseda University
June 18, 2021
Novel Coronavirus Response Headquarters,
To all students, faculty, and staff,
Waseda University has made the decision, in cooperation with alumni and other community stakeholders in the medical field, to fully participate in the Japanese government’s workplace (university) vaccination initiative and offer members of our community COVID-19 vaccinations. We expect that participating in this initiative will make it possible for us to quickly return to an environment in which all of us can enjoy the various positive aspects of campus life that we are accustomed to at Waseda, from education and research to club and other extracurricular activities, while also helping to accelerate Japan’s national vaccination initiative.
Around 61,000 Waseda University students, faculty, and staff (including faculty and staff of directly affiliated schools, part-time lecturers, and dispatch staff), personnel working on campus including employees from companies related to Waseda, and faculty, staff, and other personnel at affiliated elementary, middle, and high schools in Tokyo.
