Yuzuru Hanyu becomes first male figure skater to achieve “Super Slam”
Fri, Feb 14, 2020Figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu, student at the School of Sports Sciences, won the gold medal at the ISU Four Continents Figure Championships (4CC) with a total score of 299.42 (SP: 111.82, FP:187.60). Upon winning the 4CC, Hanyu became the first man figure skater to complete a “Super Slam” of major junior and senior competition triumphs.
