Daiya Seto ’17 finishes first and sets new world record at 14th FINA World Swimming Championships

Daiya Seto ’17, who graduated from the School of Sport Sciences last year, finished first and set a new world record with a time of 1:48.24 in men’s 200m butterfly finals at the 14th FINA World Swimming Championships held in Hangzhou, China.
The Waseda community is proud of its graduate’s achievement and look forward to the many more medals he would achieve.
