On December 1, alumnus Takayuki Suzuki ’09 broke Japan’s record in Men’s 50m Backstroke for the Para category with a timing of 50.79s at the All Japan Championship. Earlier this year, he also won five gold medals at the Asian Para Games held in Jakarta.
