I’ve always been interested in Japanese culture and people, so I dreamed about living in Japan, especially in Tokyo. I was originally planning to go to college in the US, but fortunately I visited Waseda before I applied anywhere. I felt this was the right place for me. Since I want to go to a medical school in the US, my major helps me prepare for the future. My professors say that science can be learned through discussions with friends, which fuels my self-study as well. Waseda is the most international campus in Japan, and I appreciate its openness and dynamics. Studying overseas, especially in Japan, is quite an adventure, but I think it’s one worth having.
