From Toyama/Waseda Campus: October 1, 2015

Did you know there are two fitness centers located on Waseda University’s campuses?

One is the Training Center located on B2F of Toyama Campus’s Student Center. The training center has full time training specialists and is equipped with fitness consultation rooms, locker rooms, and washrooms. Several documents are required for registration including a Student ID card, an individual health card or medical certificate, and an ID photograph (3 cm x 2.5). There is a registration fee of 3,000 yen. Membership lasts for one year.

The other fitness center is the Refresh Studio located at the Okuma Garden House on Waseda Campus. Members can take lessons or use the studio for refreshing their mind and body with yoga mats, stretch poles, and balance balls. There is a registration fee of 1,500 yen and membership lasts for one year.

Training Center Hours

  • Weekdays and Saturday – 10:00~21:00
  • Sunday and holidays – 12:00~19:00
  • *Training Center is closed when Student Union Building is closed

Refresh Studio

  • Open everyday from 16:00~20:00
  • Lessons for fall semester available from October to January from 17:00~18:00/18:30~19:30
  • Closed August, September, and March

Check in at the front desk of the Training Center

 

Bike, treadmill, and stretch area

 

Training Center is equipped with various weight training machines

 

Members can use the lockers and showers in the locker room
