Waseda University’s graduation ceremonies were held on March 25-26, marking the next stage of life for students.

Toyama campus was painted with the colors of hakamas (traditional Japanese clothing) worn by graduates. Students welcomed graduation day with sadness and excitement – sad for the inevitable separation from friends and excitement for the next stage of life.

Student tour guides offered “Graduation Ceremony Tours” to alumni. Tour participants reminisced on their days as students on the once familiar campus while the blooming cherry blossoms at the south gate watched over them.
