Come visit Waseda on a campus tour
Fri, May 6, 2016Waseda campus, April 22, 2016
Waseda University has been offering guided tours to the public since 1989. You are also more than welcome to explore the campus yourself through self-guided tours.
Guided tours
Your visit to Waseda will be led by a unique and energetic Waseda student in the 90-minute guided tour. The guides will show you around campus as they share Waseda’s history and provide insight to a special university experience Waseda has to offer. You will come across major buildings on campus such as the Okuma Auditorium (designated in December 2007 as a nationally important cultural property), WASEDA University Library, and the Tsubouchi Memorial Theatre Museum to name a few.
Regular tours, for groups of 10 people or less, are available starting with one participant. We invite prospective students and parents, as well as parents of current students to come for a visit. Group tour reservations are required for groups larger than 10.
To make reservations, please call the number below or email us at [email protected]
Self-guided tours
We provide campus maps and lend out audio devices with a recorded version of the campus tour for visitors interested in the self-guided tours.
We encourage first-year undergraduates to participate in the guided tours at the Waseda and Toyoma campuses. Also, we are continually looking for Waseda Student Ambassadors, student guides who can give campus tours in English. If you are interested, please contact us at the Information Square.
