Waseda Baseball Club Wins Record 47th League Championship

Overwhelming Keio from the start with their batting lineup, the Waseda University Baseball Club secured their 47th Tokyo Big 6 League Championship, setting the record for the most championships in the league.
In the Tokyo Big 6 Spring League Championship, Waseda University triumphed over Keio University in a best-of-3 on June 2nd at Meiji Jingu Stadium. For the first time in 7 seasons, since 2020, Waseda secured the winning league point in the Spring League Championship by beating Keio 12-2. Waseda defeated all 5 other universities in the league, obtaining the maximum 5 points in the tournament.
Following their victory, the team took part in a parade that proceeded from the Meiji Jingu Stadium to the Waseda Campus.
