Waseda’s alumni win Japan’s first medal in five years at FIS Nordic Combined World Cup

On November 25, Hideaki Nagai ’06, Akito Watabe ’11, Yoshito Watabe ’14 and Go Yamamoto ’17 won silver in men’s team at the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup. It was the first time in five years Japanese men’s team stepped onto the podium.

All four players are graduates of Waseda University and former members of Waseda’s Ski Team. Nagai graduated from the School of Human Sciences and the other three from the School of Sports Science.
